Singer songwriter, Tricia Walker will work with cancer survivors, family members and professional heath care providers of the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, Gilda's Club and other organizations for an intimate two-day writer’s workshop.
This workshop will allow participants to write song lyrics of their experiences, struggles, and joys in life with cancer. Tricia will put music to these lyrics and perform a live benefit concert at the Vanderbilt Student Life Center on Friday night, June 26th.
All proceeds of this event will go to the VICC Caring Hearts Fund. The Caring Hearts Fund was established in 2005 to assist cancer survivors with financial hardships that may arise during their treatment at the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center.
