Chauffeur Records' artists, Red Carpet Rats joined a bevy of performers, designers and artists, this weekend, to film a Public Service Announcement for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. The PSA warns young adults that cancer can strike any age group but can be thwarted with early detection.
"Cancer is something that affects us all," comments Uni Pereira, vocalist for the band. "We, as individuals, must do our part to raise awareness and help find a cure."
On March 28, 2009, the band will be participating in the 5th Annual "Nashville Fusion Festival for the Arts," an urban chic fusion of culinary, fashion, visual and musical artists, cultivating their talents to fight cancer.
