Anyone who is surprised that the Preds got in the playoffs, did not know what inspired them. The Predators reached out to a 10 year old cancer patient, and dedicated a jersey in his honor.
Chase's mother said he loved to run. He was running bases last year when 10 year old Chase Donnell first knew something felt wrong.
Tests showed that a mass in Chase's abdomen was Burkitts Lymphoma. While battling chemo treatments that burned his body, Chase first met the Nashville Predators.
Chase's mother, Jennifer said it gave him fight.Â
