The Gallatin Relay For Life will be held May 9 at the Gallatin Civic Center. Organizers have declared Thursday a Day Of Hope across Sumner County.

"As a cancer survivor and event chair for many years, I see the faces of the survivors who attend Relay each year to celebrate another year of survival. It gives me hope and the determination to continue the fight," said Darlene Bearden, former Gallatin Relay For Life event chairman. "We want everyone in Sumner County to join us as we reunite with each other, reminisce, mingle and celebrate how far we've come in 25 years."
