Just what makes Sheila Bates think she is queen?!??

Sheila Bates

Well, could be because she is, literally and figuratively! Sheila was “Queen for a Day” when awarded with the Tennessee Public Health Association’s ‘2008 Health Educator of the Year Award” on Thursday, August 28th. Literally, she is a “Queen”, as the creator of the soon-to-be famous “Cancer Queens” which so many in the Tennessee Comprehensive Cancer Coalition (TCCCC) are familiar with, and one of the star performers. Sheila is truly the ‘queen’ of creativity and professionalism and is very deserving of this prestigious award, which was acknowledged by Commissioner Susan Cooper, Tennessee Department of Health.

Please join the entire TCCCC in congratulating Ms. Sheila Bates for receiving the Tennessee Public Health Association’s “2008 Health Educator of the Year Award”!
