Bicyclist raises thousands for pediatric cancer patients

One person with an idea can make a difference. Just ask Austin Bauman, who, with only a bike and some free time over the summer, has managed to raise thousands of dollars for charity.

On the cancer floor at Nashville's Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Bauman and his teammates provide a welcome, friendly distraction. "We come to get them excited about our bicycles and about our ride but also to tell them we're out there raising money for research that will actually make a difference," Jason Bauman explained.
