In church, people witness to save souls. At the Witness Project they witness to save lives!

The Witness Project is a grass roots, community-based, breast and cervical cancer education program. Its goal is to educate African American women about how best to protect themselves from breast and cervical cancer.

The Witness Project creates a forum for an intimate and meaningful discussion about cancer prevention and early detection between a woman who has had one of these cancer (called a witness) and other African American women.
